Heading back to Lake Volta

I'm Madeline and in a few days I am heading to Ghana. More specifically, to Lake Volta, where our partner, Challenging Heights, runs rescue missions to free the estimated 21,000 children trafficked into slavery there. As Many Hope's chief storyteller, I'll be there to document the work of the rescue team as they embark on their first rescue mission of the year—rescue missions made possible by you. Thank you.

As I wrap up the last bits of packing, I am reflecting on my first time to Lake Volta in 2022 and what life is life for the children that have been trafficked there.
